Welcome toVMACON alumni website. Developing and maintaining a strong alumni association is essential for the growth and progress of our institution which is on the threshold of stepping into its 25th year. Our Alumni Association is doing a fabulous job in keeping a connection between old and young strong. It has extended the bond of all those who graduated!.

Our College of Nursing alumni are found in positions of leadership, academia, business, government, and service.Here we aim at connecting all alumni, giving them a platform to interact, regroup and participate in various celebrations of the College. In order to develop a strong network and remain connected, we request the entire alumnus to keep their profiles updated at all times. All the important events of the College of interest to the alumni will be put up in the "Events of the year".

The MISSION

The MISSION of the VMACON Alumni Association is to build loyalty and support among our graduates thereby it actively support the College of Nursing in the commitment to excellence in teaching, research, scholarship and service .

The VISION

The VISION of the Alumni Association is to maintain college pride in past, present, and future excellence. It believes in the value of education and lifelong connections among the Alumni and with the college.

OBJECTIVES OF VMACON ALUMNI ASSOCIATION:

To establish a bond of fellowship among the VMACON alumni and towards their Alma matter.
To establish a bond of abiding professional relationship among graduates of VMACON.
To Promote the objectives of the association
To Promote Social, moral, cultural and professional welfare of the association
To encourage the professional development
To encourage conduction of seminars, workshops, conferences and research activities
To encourage assist the meritorious students through scholarship.

The VMACON Alumni association was inaugurated during September, 2005. At present there are 1197 alumni members registered with this association. The alumni association has an annual meet every year on the eve of convocation and graduation day. The program comprises of a scientific session on a suitable theme followed by various cultural and sports events for graduates with prize distribution by the president. We have an active executive committee which always acts as an advocate for alumni opinions and needs. The committee facilitates alumni volunteer recruitment and encourages the involvement of alumni with diverse talents in a variety of activities of college.
